A FIRE which destroyed a car spread to a house in a Somerset street.
Firefighters from Shepton Mallet and Frome were sent to the incident, in Common Lane, Holcombe, at around 9.30am on Tuesday (January 21).
There were reports of a car on fire - near to a bungalow and a fence.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "This was a vehicle fire which had spread to a nearby property. Vehicle 100% damaged and 5% damage to property.
"Damage consisting of two windows broken, one window scorched, front fascias, guttering and nearby shrubs also scorched.
"Single storey domestic bungalow measuring 30m x 15m of brick and tile construction.
"Extinguished using two hose reel jets and thermal imaging camera."
The cause of the fire was accidental, they added.
