AN exhilarating group of artists have collaborated to create the latest exhibition at Ilminster Arts Centre - Glorious Gallifmaufry.

This new exhibition of paintings, textiles and photography promises to be a real crowd-pleaser, with something for all visitors to enjoy.

Among those taking part is the award-winning artist Mark Beesley. Mark is known for his immaculately realised figurative paintings, which explore the fine line between the natural and the artificial in our landscapes.

Devon-based painter Vanessa Worrall will be showing her contemporary landscape and seascapes. Vanessa works primarily in oil, creating intensely colouful, energetic work capturing the light and textures of our natural landscape.

There will also be a selection by photographer Peter Carter, whose diverse portfolio covers environmental portraiture, dance, documentary, and street photography.

Sculptor Keith Reeves creates work that is inspired by megalithic art. Keith’s ‘tattooed stones’ feature ancient organic designs which promote peaceful energy and spiritual awareness. Textile artist Helen Bamber will also be exhibiting some of her meticulously crafted stitch creations.

Also featuring a vibrant selection of paintings by Jamie Condon, Judy May, Ann Jarrett and Rod West, this Glorious Gallimaufry celebrates the diversity of artistic creation in the south-west.

The show runs from January 27 until 15 February at Ilminster Arts Centre. To find out more visit themeetinghouse.org.uk
