IT might on be the beginning of November, but the festive season will arrive before you know it.
Christmas soon gets underway at Ilminster Arts Centre with the return of its annual Christmas Collection.
This enticing exhibition of locally crafted jewellery, textiles, glass, ceramics, decorative art and home accessories begins on Monday, November 25.
It should solve all your Christmas gift buying dilemmas by the time the Arts Centre closes for the Christmas break on Saturday, December 21.
The exhibition organisers aim to take the stress out of Christmas present shopping by sourcing a range of unusual, good quality items from top local makers that should delight even the most hard-to-buy-for friends and family.
Based in the centre of town, Ilminster Arts Centre is away from the hectic High Street shopping experience and there is free parking on the doorstep. The Arts Centre’s Gallery Café is the perfect destination for a light lunch and a freshly brewed fairtrade cuppa.
The craft shop offers further retail opportunities and its large selection of artists’ cards is ideal for Christmas thank you letters. To find out more visit themeetinghouse.org.uk
