MATTERS relating to Wellington's Tonedone Mill are set to be discussed in a 'confidential' council meeting.
The agenda item, titled 'Tonedale Mill S215 notice' is listed on matters to be discussed at the Somerset West and Taunton council planning committee meeting tomorrow (Thursday, October 24), at 1pm.
But before it will be discussed, the councillors look set to exclude the press and public.
The council has not confirmed whether the meeting's purpose is to issue a S215 notice, which forces the owner to carry out works or face prosecution, or if it is to discuss orders made in the past.
The latest order was made on June 5, which ordered the current owners of the disused mill buildings to carry out works on the site, including clearing the open spaces, removing fallen timber fences, and ensuring all windows and openings in the building were fully boarded and secured.
The owners had eight weeks to carry out the works.
