THE M5 has re-opened after an overnight closure after a lorry crash near Taunton last night (Monday).
The incident, which saw two HGVs collide, happened at around 8pm and saw the motorway closed northbound between junctions 26 (Wellington) and 25 (Taunton).
Traffic was allowed back onto the carriageway at around 7.20am - although one lane remains closed - after the road was closed at around 8pm last night, following the crash.

A fire service spokesperson said: "Fire Control sent two fire engines from Wellington, one fire engine and the rescue tender from Taunton.
"When the crew got in attendance the officer in charge confirmed this to be a road traffic collision involving two HGVs that left the roadway.
"One male self-rescued from the lorry with the assistance of the Fire and Rescue Service and is now being checked over by the Ambulance Service."
