A TAUNTON man has been accused of stealing a charity box from the town's Musgrove Park Hospital.

Wayne Francis Goldsworthy, 37, of Wheatley Crescent, Taunton, was not asked to enter a plea to the charge when he appeared at Taunton Magistrates' Court on Saturday.

It is not known how much was in the the charity box he is accused of stealing on May 25.

Goldsworthy is also accused of stealing two DKNY suitcases valued at £129.98 from Homesense, in Priory Fields, Taunton, on May 8.

And he faces a charge of stealing three tins of SMA baby milk and Ariel washing pods from Tesco Express, in East Reach, Taunton, on May 1.

The case was adjourned until September 4.
