BURNHAM United kick off their 2019/20 league campaign tomorrow, with a home match against Saltford (ko 3pm).
United remain in Division 1 of the Uhlsport Somerset County League, having finished 13th (out of 16 teams) last season, while this weekend’s visitors to Cassis Close ended up in eighth spot.
The following Saturday (August 17) brings a second successive home game, against Winscombe, before United head to Minehead AFC on August 24.
Burnham United Reserves, meanwhile, start their Division 3 challenge with a trip to Cutters Friday tomorrow (ko 3pm).
United Reserves came 10th in Division 3 last season, with Cutters finishing bottom but not being relegated.
The Reserves are away the next weekend as well, at Bishops Lydeard Reserves, with their first home game being against Chew Magna on August 24.
