ILMINSTER’S Annual Open Exhibition returns this month, with another stunning showcase of top-notch West Country art.
The Open Exhibition is an art competition that is open to professional and amateur artists, who submit their work to be appraised by a judging panel.
The resulting exhibition, which is generously sponsored by Branston of Seavington, has become a a byword for quality and creativity.
It is also a great opportunity to see and purchase art works by well-known artists, as well as by up and coming ones - past winners have included Nancy Farmer, Leo Davey and Jane Burden.
The opening event takes place on July 1 from 5pm until 6.30pm, when the winners will be announced. The exhibition runs from July 1 until July 26.
