TAUNTON folk are invited to enjoy live music from singer and guitarist Andy Doran when he performs in a pub in the town’s Beer and Cider Festival this month.

Andy will be playing at The Half Moon Inn in Stoke St Mary on Saturday, June 22 from 2pm until 4pm.

Vicky Date, Licensee of the pub on Stoke Road, said: “We’re really looking forward to our Beer and Cider Festival. It takes place over two days, kicking off on June 21 from 6pm and continuing on June 22 from 12noon, and we’re thrilled that Andy will be playing for us on the second day.

“He performed for us last year during our first anniversary party and he went down really well with our customers, so we’re sure they will enjoy his set this time around too.”

The Half Moon Inn is a family-run, village pub situated in the village of Stoke St Mary near Taunton.

A beer garden is located on-site and a wooden play area and other activities for children are available.

Andy said: “I am honoured to have been invited to play during The Half Moon Inn’s Beer & Cider festival.

“I have put together a set full of classic and modern cover songs, so there will be something to suit everyone, and I hope lots of people come along and get into the party spirit.”

Andy sings and plays acoustic guitar at pubs, clubs, functions, restaurants and hotel lounges across the South West. He has toured with top Cornish comedian, Jethro, and has performed for Prince Charles.
