BRIDGWATER Town have announced their second signing of the week, as a second ex-Street player arrives at Fairfax Park.
Hot on the heels of striker Steve Murray comes Ross McErlain, a defender, who has now agreed terms to play for the Robins in next season's Toolstation Western League Premier Division.
An experienced operator who has also had spells at Wells City and Shepton Mallet, McErlain was the Supporters’ Player of the Year at Street in 2017-18, the season which saw them win the Western League by 15 clear points.
McErlain commented: "I’m delighted to be signing for Bridgwater Town.
"I know from my time at Bridgwater & Taunton College that it’s a good club with good people, and I believe that it’s very much on the up.
"Last year the boys had a great season; this year, hopefully we can go one better and challenge for the title.
"I’m really looking forward to getting started."
Bridgwater co-manager Dave Pearse said: "Ross is another huge signing for us.
"He played a huge part in Street’s league winning campaign and brings lots of quality and experience to our squad.
"He has a wand of a left foot and is a fantastic defender.
"I'm absolutely delighted he has chosen to come to us."
