THESE pictures show a woman was forced to call the fire service after her wedding ring got stuck on her finger.
The unnamed lady has been left with a red band across her digit as a reminder of her long-lasting marriage vows.
The Somerset woman suffered swelling from an accident and desperately called the fire crew who then sawed it off with a ring cutter at Avon Fire & Rescue Service.
The woman was taken to A&E for an x-ray in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset.
A spokesman for Avon Fire & Rescue Service told Somerset Live: "We assisted a lady at the station this evening who’s fingers were swollen following an accident and her ring was stuck.
"We cut it with our ring cutter and sent her to A&E for an X-ray. Hope it’s ok!"
