THE Friends of Apex Park are teaming up with Secret World Wildlife Rescue to run a photography competition.

The contest aims to capture the beautiful open space of Apex Park via a snapshot and to raise much-needed funds towards repair of Secret World’s resident bird aviaries.

There are three age categories and three themes: Under 8’s, 9-17 yrs and 18 years + and the themes will be Wildlife (not including pets), Flowers and Seasons (at Apex Park).

Winners from each age category will have their photos used in Sedgemoor District Council’s and Friends of Apex Park’s future publicity for Apex Park.

Secret World Wildlife Rescue, which is based in East Huntspill, are offering a ‘behind the scenes’ visit for the winners too and if an overall winner is chosen, their photo will be used on the cover of Secret World’s newsletter.
