HOW a young man came to die at Taunton Bus Station is set to be explored at an inquest.

Iain Mitchell-Snudden, 32, of Somerton but formerly lived in Chard, was sadly found dead on August 7, 2018.

His death shocked the town after his body was discovered at Taunton Bus Station, which was closed while police investigations were underway.

One man was arrested after the incident, but was released and Avon and Somerset Police said the force was not treating the death as suspicious.

Tributes were paid to the well-loved man, who regularly helped out at homeless charity Arc. Iain was frequently collecting at carnivals for the charity.

Iain's family also paid tribute to him, with sister Hayley describing him as caring and kind.

The inquest will take place at the Old Municipal Buildings in Corporation Street, Taunton, at 10.30am on Thursday, April 18.

Senior coroner for Somerset, Tony Williams, will be conducting the inquest.
