POLICE investigating a mass 'alercation' have put out an appeal to trace a man who may be able to help with their enquiries.

Officers advise the public to call 999 if they spot Kane Merchant, aged 23.

He is wanted in connection with an incident of affray involving several people in Meadow Road, Yeovil.

Five people - four men aged 23, 26, 35 and 37 and a 27-year-old woman - have been arrested in connection with the disturbance on March 21 at 1pm.

Kane Merchant is white, 5ft 11in tall, of medium build, with dark brown hair shaved at the sides and a full beard.
