FOLK rock band, The Stoned Cherries, will be playing at Cotleigh Brewery on April 27.

The Stoned Cherries came together in Summer 2014, based around the core members Roger Pugh and Dave Evans.

With the addition of Matt and Aly, a band appeared that enjoys playing original and traditional songs and tunes that would make people dance, smile and think.

In 2018, the bands reputation grew and more recently they have been playing more venues and festivals.

Roger and Dave write the original songs and tunes, with traditional tunes featuring as well. The occasional cover song may be thrown in for good measure.

The band plays with verve and passion, and a sprinkling of humour keeps audiences entertained.

The doors will open at 7.30pm and the concert starts at 8pm. Tickets for the gig cost£10 (£8 for concessions) and are available from Wiveliscombe Post Office. To find out more, call 01984 623308, email jbond36086@aol.com or visit www.silverstreetsessions.co.uk
