CRASH: In Otterford, near Chard
A MAN was taken to hospital after a crash near Chard.
Two fire crews and a rescue vehicle were called to the scene, in Neroche Road, Otterford, at around 5.45pm on Monday evening (April 8) after reports of a crash.
"On arrival crews confirmed that there were two vehicles involved, both of which had left the road, and that one male person was trapped," said a Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson.
"Fire crews released the man using hydraulic rescue equipment and then made the vehicles safe."
The injured person was treated by Paramedics and taken to hospital, they added.
