A WOMAN was rescued by firefighters after her vehicle ended up in a ditch near Ilminster.
Two fire engines from Ilminster and Chard along with a rescue tender from Yeovil were called to reports of a crash in Sea near Ilminster.
On arrival crews confirmed a woman was still inside the vehicle which was located down a ditch.
Crews liaised with ambulance crews on scene and released the woman from her vehicle using a triple extension ladder.
Duty of care was left with ambulance and police on scene.
