ART enthusiasts can enjoy a new exhibition at Ilminster Arts Centre this March.

‘Reflections’, an exhibition of painting, sculpture and photography that opens at Ilminster Arts Centre on Monday 18 March is aptly named. The paintings, sculpture and photographs that are on display positively radiates with reflected light.

The show brings together dazzling birds and wildlife by local artist Sue Allen, the shimmer of urban architecture in London, Venice and elsewhere by painter Rob Crisp, and the sublime purity of Carrera marble and Portland stone, as sculpted by Ilminster based artist Mike Lanigan.

The exhibition will also include photographer Philip Tonkyn’s intense panoramic landscapes, and beautifully observed still life studies by Kate Whitemore.

The show runs until Saturday 6 April and admission is free. The gallery is open Monday to Friday, 9:30am until 4:30pm and Saturday until 2:30pm. For more information visit www.themeetinghouse.org.uk or call 01460 55783.
