THE Met Office has issued a yellow warning as heavy fog hits Somerset this morning.
Met Office forecasters have warned of fog patches across parts of England and Wales that could cause travel disruption, with even the possibility of some flights being delayed or cancelled.
The warning is in place until 11am today when the mist and fog is expected to disperse, leading to a good deal of sunshine in the afternoon.
Tonight will remain dry with predominantly clear, starry skies. However, some patchy mist, fog and low cloud will develop in places. Turning cold again under the clear skies.
