STAFF at Brean Country Club celebrated as the venue officially opened its doors to the public at a special ceremony on Tuesday (February 12).
The new venue in Red Road was opened by former champion jockey and vice president of the Injured Jockey's Fund, John Francome and has created 15 jobs.
Guests including former Burnham-on-Sea MP, Tessa Munt, were given a tour of the club's new facilities before enjoying a celebration lunch.
The new country club offers spectacular panoramic views across the Mendip Hills, two function suites, the larger with a 140 seat capacity, and casual dining, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
