AN APPEAL for witnesses has been launched after a vehicle was seen tailgating an ambulance while it was on an emergency call.
PC Sam Donati, Minehead beat manager for Avon and Somerset Police, said the incident happened on Saturday (January 12) on the A358 in the Crowcombe area. In a social media appeal, PC Donati said police have identified the vehicle involved and is urging witnesses to the incident to come forward.
PC Donati said: "I am seeking witnesses to an incident involving a vehicle tailgating an ambulance on an emergency call.
"We have identified the vehicle but are seeking witnesses to the manner of driving.
"I cannot give any further details at this stage.
"Please message me with any information, or alternatively ring OIC PC 1344 Fitzpatrick on 101, quoting crime reference 5219008159."
