A MAN accused of dangerous driving in Burnham-on-Sea has denied the charge and will stand trial at Taunton Crown Court.

Michael Cunningham is alleged to have driven a Land Rover Discovery dangerously on a number of roads in Burnham, including the town's South Esplanade, on November 18 last year.

Cunningham, 40, of Minehead, denied a charge of dangerous driving at a hearing at Taunton Crown Court on Monday (January 7).

Judge Paul Cook adjourned the case for trial on May 8 and Cunningham was granted unconditional bail.
