BRIDGWATER’S Robert Blake Science College has played host to senior citizens to offer them festive tidings for Christmas.
The grandparents of students from Year 7 students were invited along with guests from the Avalon Retirement home on Monday, December 17.
They were treated to performances from students including a drama performance from a forthcoming production of Aladdin, carol renditions from the Choir, and performances from the jazz band and dancers.
Guests enjoyed some tasty treats, with a wonderful buffet provided courtesy of the school caterers. There were also raffle prizes for visitors, all donated by our Year 7 students.
Assistant head Peter Ford described the event as ‘a wonderful opportunity for Robert Blake Science College to share the talents of our students with the local community.’
