School French Day
CHARD School recently celebrated French day by painting the school red, white and blue.
The playground was awash colour as all pupils arrived in costume.
Children took part in a carousel of activities, including a French breakfast and a boules competition.
Katie Hill, headteacher, said: “Thank you to all the parents for their support, the Friends of Chard School for funding the event and all the members of staff involved for their invaluable help in ensuring that a great time was had by all.”
Some daring children also took on the challenge of eating an escargot à la Bourguignonne, or snail.
