BRIGHT lights and festive decor is adorning the Minster church following the launch of the annual Christmas Tree Festival.
The mayor of Ilminster, Julie Fowler, was joined by school children as she switched on the illuminations on Monday.
The Christmas Tree Festival is on display until 4pm on Saturday.
Emma Lawrence, one of the organisers, said: “Every tree done is in support of a different charity or local group.
“The festival means that Christmas is coming and it is just a nice thing that Ilminster does, pulling together to help good causes.”
This years event actually had too many entrants to fit them all in.
“It is all looking really pretty,” Emma added.
