CHARD Town, now top of the First Division of the Toolstation Western League, will be looking to continue their unbeaten home league form on Saturday when they entertain eighth-placed Devizes Town at Zembard Lane (ko 3pm).

Devizes are one of a number of clubs in the chasing pack, being five points behind Chard, but with two games in hand.

Matt Howell, James Boyland and Steve Friend, who all missed the excellent win at Ashton & Backwell last Saturday, are available to return.

There is soccer at Zembard Lane tonight (Wednesday), when Chard Town Under-18s entertain Cheddar in the Southern section of the Somerset Floodlight Youth league (ko 7.30pm).

This is followed by another Under-18 fixture, away to Frome Town, next Tuesday (November 20, 7.45pm).

Chard Reserves, meanwhile, have a tough away trip to Macron Devon & Exeter League Division 1 leaders Lapford on Saturday (ko 2.15pm).

Their match last Saturday fell victim to the wet weather.

Ilminster Town travel to Somerset County League Premier Division leaders Frys Club on Saturday, just two weeks after the home match that finished 1-1.

Ilminster Town Reserves host Uplyme, while Combe St Nicholas - now under the management of former Ilminster boss Darren Manley - host Chew Magna.
