THE Great Chard Bake Off is coming to the town centre this weekend, with funds going towards the community bid to buy Cresta Swimming Pool.
The event has been organised by Chard resident Georgina Catling and is taking place at The Choughs Hotel.
The Great Chard Bake Off is running from noon until 3pm on Sunday (September 23).
There is an entry fee of £5, and a limit of one entry per person.
There will be an adult and a children's categories, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Any baked item can be entered.
The adult first prize is £30 in cash, and the children's first prize is a £15 voucher.
The winner's baked item will also be auctioned off.
The Great Chard Bake Off will also feature a raffle to help boost funds.
