A WANTED man from Chard has been arrested and is in police custody after a public appeal yesterday.
Avon and Somerset Police launched the appeal to track down Andrzej Pszczolkowski on September 12.
A spokesman said the 36-year-old was wanted in connection with a serious sexual assault.
He is described as a white Polish man with dark brown hair, a square set face, and broad. He has grey or blue eyes and a slightly crooked nose.
Andrzej is believed to be frequenting Chard and Weston-super-Mare.
After he was arrested, the spokesman said: "We’d like to thank everyone who helped share our appeal to find him and those who called us with information."
UPDATE: Following a trial at Bristol Crown Court, Pszczolkowski was found not guilty and the defendant was discharged.
