SHOWGOERS can pick up an absolutely steal on the way to Taunton Flower Show tomorrow – a newspaper and book for just £1.
Somerset County Gazette will set up a stall on High Street tomorrow morning (Friday, August 3) offering a copy of this week’s paper, a limited edition ‘I Love Somerset’ bag for life and a copy of Somerset: A Photographic Journey.
The cover price of the Gazette is £1.20 and the book – which celebrates the beauty of Somerset through dozens of stunning images – retails at £14.95.
Rob Stacey, newspaper sales manager, said: “This is a one-off offer and for just £1, you’ll get the latest local news, a limited edition bag and a hardback book of beautiful pictures of the county.
“Come and see us at our pop-up stall.”
The Gazette team will be in High Street at 9.30am.
