A VILLAGE club has celebrated its 25th anniversary with a special meeting.
Tatworth Flower Club was founded in 1993 by a group of women who were interested in flower arranging.
The club is known for its friendly relaxed atmosphere and is affiliated to the South West of NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies) This enables the club to book both regional and national demonstrators to attend their meetings where they produce modern and varied arrangements.
The reputation of the club has spread and we it has a good number of members and regular visitors attending each meeting.
Two open Saturday workshops are held each year for those wishing to learn the modern aspects of flower arranging to a competition standard.
These have been well supported and proved very popular. Meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month and Tatworth Memorial Hall, South Chard, TA20 2QW. Doors open from 1.30pm for a 2pm start.
Visitors are always most welcome for a £5 admission fee. Previous meetings can be viewed on our facebook page. Further details can be obtained from Julie Kettle, chairman on 01297 33924.
