SOMERSET is set for another night of sub-zero temperatures with a chance of snow across the region.
In the south west summary, Met Office said: "Cold and mostly cloudy with a band of rain, sleet, and snow moving slowly in from the northwest across the region, reaching Gloucestershire during the afternoon whilst eventually clearing Cornwall.
"Some light snow flurries are also possible ahead of this."
The maximum temperature is set to reach around 4C, before falling to a minimum of -4C overnight.
For the overnight forecast, Met Office added: "Cloud and patchy light snow in the east will clear, leaving most of the region clear, very cold and frosty.
"Occasional showers will continue through the night across west Cornwall."
Tomorrow's forecast said: "A cold and bright day with light winds and plenty of sunshine, although high cloud spilling in from the west through afternoon. Turning wet and windier overnight."
The temperature will peak at around 7C.
