A PERSON who was airflifted to hospital with a head inujury following a crash near Buckland St Mary is 'recovering well', police have said.
Police and parademics rushed to a crash at around 8am yesterday (November 8) on Staple Hill near Stable Cottage in Buckland St Mary.

Following the crash, a spokesman for South Western Ambulance Service, said: "Two patients were treated at the scene.
"One was taken to Musgrove Park Hospital with minor injuries by road ambulance.
"The second patient suffered a head injury was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for treatment."
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police has now said the person who was airlifted to hospital is recovering well and is 'sitting up in bed.'
