I HAD to attend Musgrove A&E on Thursday, August 10, at 2am due to a very painful knee injury.
I knew a wait was inevitable and I finally saw a doctor at 7am, a wait of five hours.
But what I am writing to you about is a young couple who went in just in front of me, with a six-week old baby.
The baby did not get seen until 7am, the same as myself.
Yet there were people the worse for drink seen before the baby.
I could not believe this.
Surely a six-week old baby should be a priority?
Well, I think so anyway.
I know the NHS is struggling, but this made me question the decision on the treatment of this baby.
