A MAN has been taken to hospital with "serious leg injuries" after a crash in Chard.
The A30 is closed in both directions between Furnham Road and The Drift.
Police were called to the crash between Furnham Road and The Drift at 12.20pm (April 4).
The crash was between a motorcycle and a car.
Police have confirmed that the driver of the motorcycle has been taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.
The man was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with a possible fractured leg by a Dorset and Somerset air ambulance.
It is believed the driver of the car was uninjured.

One person on the scene said: "The motorbike was on the left side of the road heading to Crewkerne. Paramedics were working on someone for about 20 minutes.
"We didn't see what happened and when we got there the ambulance was already there."
