POLICE have launched an appeal to find a Somerset man in connection with a serious assault on a woman.
They believe Mircea-Andrei Vieru, aged 20, is in the Yeovil area, where he is from.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said: "He is wanted for grievous bodily harm following an incident in December in which a woman was seriously assaulted.
"Following information received yesterday (Saturday), we believe he is back in the Yeovil area and want to locate him as soon as possible."
He is described as of medium build, 5ft 5in tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.

If you know where he may be, call 101 and give the same reference number.
