CHILDREN across South Somerset got dressed up in spots, took part in bake offs and raised hundreds of pounds for Children in Need.
Pupils at schools around the region joined in the charity events last week, with the special fundraising day on Friday.

Wadham sixth form had a week of fundraising activities for Children in Need, culminating in Pyjama Day on Friday. Events included leg waxing, a bake off and cake sale and a sixth form vs teachers football match.
On Thursday pupils donated money to Pie the Teacher. On Friday students donned pyjamas and the teachers sang karaoke.
The total raised at the end of Friday stood at £640. To support Children in Need pupils and staff at Greenfylde went spotty for the day and raised over £240. Meanwhile, next door Sunny Ile Pre School raised more than £14.
Connel Boyle, headteachet at Neroche Primary School, said: "We just added up all of our children in need money, the children have been fundraising for weeks, and our total of £531 is the most we have raised for this event."
Merriott First School wore decorated T shirts, shirts and jumpers in spotty designs, and have raised around £150.
