HUNDREDS turned out for the “absolutely brilliant” Combe St Nicholas parish open day.
The event, on Saturday, saw businesses and activities open to the public across the village.
Ros Roderigo, an event organiser, said: “It was absolutely brilliant.
“The church tower was open all day and was literally packed the whole time.
“The pottery studio had loads of people, and the quality of the stalls in the craft fair was fantastic.
“We are going to try and put it on again next year.” Events like this are so weather dependent and it just happened to be perfect on Saturday.
“There were a lot of new people in the village and it was to help people realise that a lot goes on in the village.”
