Car completely destroyed in late night fire in Chard
AN AUDI A4 which was completely destroyed in a fire in Chard at the weekend was the subject of an arson attack.
One fire engine from Chard was sent to the scene in Touches Lane shortly after 11.30pm on Saturday, September 10.
On arrival, crews confirmed the vehicle had been alight for some time and was completely destroyed by fire.
Crews extinguished the remainder of the fire using a hose reel jet and checked with a thermal imaging camera.
