GALLERY: Chard Summer Show 2016 hailed a great success
ORGANISERS of the Chard Summer Show have hailed this year’s event as a great success.
The Chard Summer Show for Horticulture and Crafts was held in the Guildhall, Fore Street on Saturday where 17 prizes were handed out.
Grant Davies, chairman of the Summer Show, said: “It all went well with lots of entries. It was brilliant to see lots of children entering, and it showed what talented people we have in the town.”
“It was good to see so many people coming into the Guildhall to view all the displays. Thank you to the Mayor for presenting the Cups and Trophies. and my committee for all their hard work throughout the year.”
