I SEE that our Tory MP has broken cover and is now supporting the “Brexit” campaign - namely voting to remove the United Kingdom from the fast disintegrating European Community.
One trusts that Mr Fysh will acknowledge the role of UKIP forcing the hand of Mr Cameron allowing the British Public a say in whether they want to stay in the EU.
After the vote which I fervently hope will be for “Exit”, Messrs Cameron, Osborne, May and their lesser pro-EU apologists will be forced to leave Downing Street and the cabinet thus allowing a scramble for fresh new faces in the government.
No doubt, wily young Marcus must have an eye on such a golden opportunity to propel himself into the limelight of his party with the associated wealth and power.
Just think how many policeman, nurses, doctors, hospitals, and sundry transport and infrastructure projects could be funded by what we are currently forced to pay into the EU kitty.
We could even pay for some military aircraft to fly from our second new aircraft carrier!
I look forward to the moment.
Neil Arnold, Buckland St Mary
