CHILDREN from Greenfylde First School in Ilminster were visited by a special guest recently.
Pete the Poet popped into the class to do some work on cultural diversity, and gave staff and children an informative session learning about differences and tolerance.
Using puppets, Pete told stories involving prejudice and bullying in a way that was easy for the children to understand.
Every child had a puppet and was part of the story.
They also used simple rhythms and patterns to develop and create new poems to perform together.
