Two people had to be cut free from the mangled wreckage of vehciles after a crash on the A303 between South Petherton to Southfields yesterday morning.
Firefighters from Martock, Ilminster, Yeovil and the rescue tender from Yeovil were called out just after 11am this morning
Crews confirmed the crash involved three vehicles with people still trapped and crews got to work with hydraulic cutting equipment, small tools and hose reel jets to free two casualties from the vehicles.
Fire crews made the scene and all vehicles involved in the incident safe.
