Smoke coming from the window of an Ilton bungalow sparked a call out for firefighters this morning.
Crews were called to a fire alarm sounding within a domestic property, with a smell of smoke and smoke seen coming out of the window.
Crews gained entry to the property using rapid deployment of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
A full search of the property was carried out with no persons found within the property, crews got to work damping down the fire.
The fire was located within the kitchen, a hob had been left on with a plastic container on top.
Crews cleared the property of smoke using a positive pressure ventilation fan.
