SHIPMATES and shipmaids of Chard Royal Naval Association endured (or enjoyed!) a quiz organised by branch secretary Roy Lovell at the most recent gathering.
It required much brain-searching and some brainwaves before the eventual winner emerged.
An invitation to the reopening of Chard Museum was received, with special interest in the 1942 Warships Week, when HMS Campion, a Flower Class' escort was adopted by Chard.
The next meeting will be at the Conservative Club on Thursday, March 8, and the opening day for Chard Museum is Saturday, May 5.
