SOUTH Somerset Ramblers will be holding a walk next Thursday (February 22) from The Bell Inn, Winsham (GR377064), leaving at 10am.
It will be a moderate walk of six miles, taking in the Axe Valley. Unfortunately no dogs are permitted on the walk, but pub lunches will be available on walk's return.

An extra, longer walk will take place on Sunday (February 25), leaving at 10am from the Thorncombe Village Hall car park (GR376036).
This will be a brisk 13-mile walk via Templeman's Ash and West Swilletts Farm.
Walkers are advised to take a picnic, but as with all walks, no dogs are allowed. More information from Gerry on 01935-881317.
