FUNDS for the Poppy Appeal collection in Crewkerne were boosted – thanks to a donation from local traders.
Keith Chinn, who runs a unit within the Antiques Bazaar, donated ten per cent of all sales he made during November to the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
His offer was matched by Anthony Bucke, who is a partner in the Antiques Bazaar at the Old Textile Mill.
Danny Pettitt and June Webb, Poppy Appeal officers for the Crewkerne branch of the Royal British Legion, went along to the to receive a cheque for £84.35.
