ALL aboard the SS American! People are invited to banish the winter blues and join Axminster Operatic Society in Cole Porter’s fabulous show Anything Goes.
Written in 1934, Anything Goes portrays all the glamour of the age with songs such as Anything Goes, Blow Gabriel, Blow, and All Through the Night. Combine that with dance routines, wonderful costumes and an amusing script, and you have the recipe for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Denise Churchett, director, said: “This is the first show I’ve directed with AOS and I’m really enjoying the experience.”
Anything Goes runs from Wednesday, November 14, to Saturday, November 17, at 7.30pm in the Guildhall, Axminster.
A matinee is also being staged on Saturday, November 17, at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available from the Archway Bookshop in Axminster on 01297-33595.
