Section 116 Highways Act 1980 Notice of Application to Stop Up Part of the Highway Known as Badgers Walk, Ferndown, Dorset
At 3:20pm on the 25 January 2022 the Council as Highway Authority for the County
of Dorset intends to apply to the Dorset Magistrates' Court sitting at Weymouth
Magistrates' Court, the Law Courts, Westway Road, Weymouth Dorset DT4 8BS for an
application under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of this Order, if made, will be to stop up public highway rights
over a section of highway making up part of Badgers Walk, Ferndown, Dorset.
A plan illustrating the extent of the Order applied for may be inspected free
of charge at County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester DTI 1XJ during its normal
opening hours.
Anyone aggrieved by this application may oppose it by attending in person at the Weymouth Magistrates' Court on 25 January 2022 at 3:20pm and they will have the right to be heard. Dated: 16 December 2021.
