HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 The Somerset County Council (Footpaths AX 8/11 (part) and AX 8/12 (part) in the Parish of Brent Knoll) Public Path Diversion Order, 2019 The above order made on 27 September 2019 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert: 1 .Part of public footpath AX 8/11 starting from Church Lane (point □ on the order plan) and running in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 225 metres to point B. To a route which starts from OS Grid Reference ST33561 50699 (point C on the order plan) and runs in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 45 metres to point Y and then in a generally south south easterly direction for approximately 93 metres to point Z and then in a generally southerly direction for approximately 15 metres to point E and then in a generally in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 36 metres to the western end of Coombe Side at point F. The path then continues from the eastern end of Coombe Side (point G on the order plan) and runs along the southern boundary of the driveway of number 4 in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 28 metres to point B and; 2.Part of public footpath AX 8/12 starting from Church Lane (point D on the order plan) and running in a generally north easterly and then north north westerly direction for approximately 63 metres to point A. To a route which starts from OS Grid Reference ST 33558 50699 (point X on the order plan) and runs in a generally north easterly and then north north westerly direction along the surfaced path for approximately 62 to point A as shown on the order plan. A copy of the order and the order plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at:

1. Somerset County Council, Second Floor, B Block, County Hall, Taunton, (please report to reception and ask to speak to someone from the Rights of Way Definitive Map Team), from 9.30am until 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of £10.00.



2. Sedgemoor District Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.



Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to Rights of Way Definitive Map Team, Economic and Community Infrastructure, Somerset County Council, B Block, County Hall, Taunton, TA1 4DY, to be received not later than 7 November 2019. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Somerset County Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order. At this stage they will be made available for public inspection. Prior to submission to the Secretary of State, representations and objections will only be disclosed anonymously (i.e. with personal data redacted).
