Gordon “Maggie” CHANT

CHANT Gordon "Maggie" Passed away peacefully at Horton Cross Nursing Home on 26th December 2021 aged 95 years. He will be sadly missed. The funeral service will take place at Taunton Crematorium on Thursday 20th January at 2pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for the Royal British Legion may be sent c/o A J Wakely & Sons, 7 West Street, Ilminster, TA19 9AA tel: 01460 52576

Sad to hear of the passing of Gord. Worked with him for many years at Horlicks and we younger ones called him 'Chanty', the older ones used 'Maggie'. Always good for a laugh, but could explode if we wound him up too far but never held a grudge. R.I.P. Gord, thanks for some happy memories.
